CABO

What can I say?
It was too cool here. Check out the rock formations.

These experiences all add texture to a book...The people on this cruise ship have no idea they're going to end up in my next novel.
But the coolest thing?
Is what we find on our bed each evening.

Animal towels...
Who knew?

Hola Pat,

The snorkling spot I told you about is just off the beach you see in picture number 3.

Hope you're enjoying the trip.

Nos Vemos,

The snorkeling was quite interesting- very warm water - saw some queen angelfish and lots of jacks.
Are presently docked here at Puerto Vallarta.
Lots of yachts.

Coolness. Kind of envious, but I'm holding it back. I think I'll go attempt to make some towel animals. That ought to keep a girl occupied for a while.

Is that an elephant? A swan? A t'owl? Is taking a cruise on a cruise ship when you live on a boat like taking vacation to a really big house? Just curious. Enjoy! Tell us about the desserts, pleasssse!

Pastry wrapped cinnamon apples with real vanilla ice cream.
I am getting SO FAT...

Have you seen Percé Rock (Roche Percé) in Quebec? We lived near there when I was eight, and at low tide we could walk out to the rock.

On a Brownie trip, my sister stepped on a seagull egg and got her sneaker all yellow. Eww.

Hello? Apples are not dessert. Ever. Pie-shmie. I want to know if there's a chocolate fountain that you can climb into and then rinse off in a caramel pool. DESSERT. Not fruit. And don't even mention cheeses on a plate served after the main course. Again, not dessert.

Aloha, Pat;
Thanks for the pics. A mini-vacation! Fresh towels are luxe too...

I posted your bathtub photo.

And BTW, that looks more like an elephant than a skunk!! The towel-animal, I mean.

Looks amazing!! And I love the towel animal! My favorite part about the cruise I went on - the food. Ahh, midnight buffets...

Hi Orion,

These are lovely photographs! I'll have to tell my girlfriends about this place so we can plan our next vacation there.

Do they serve lots of colorful drinks with neat little umbrellas there? If not, then forget it! I'm old and cranky, so when I want my pretty drinks, I better get em!

Beautiful pix, Pat. It's one of my dreams to go snorkeling some day. It all sounds great, from the animal towels to the water to the rocks to the chocolates.
