ANIMALS BEHAVING BADLY...IN THIRD PERSON

COWRYS IN CAMOFLAGE?

He's buried deep in a bank. But there's a logical explanation. A hundred years ago the shore was closer. Over time the reef was exposed stranding gastropods who came late to the party. He snoozed he lost and there he remained. High and dry until some geographically challenged beachcomber found him.

CONESHELLS CLIMBING TREES?
Pat has no explanation for the shell perched in the tree.

She'd like to think it's the next step evolutionarily.
Flying Gastropods.
It could happen.
In a million or so years.

What Pat is looking for?
Stories about animals.
Third person.
Singular.
With feeling.

Tooloose was on another bender. A 2 AM hunt for anything loud and playable that he could bat around.
Girl Kitty on the other hand laid down on the remote and watched TV all night.
Pat and Gordon?
They are still recovering from last weekend's
Bilge-O-Rama...

Animals, I have lots of those. Dogs (which are working my last nerve), cats indoor/outdoor, goats, birds. Never a dull moment around here. Mary, how funny!

Seriously? (i'm such a literal person)

Animal stories. Okay. Shiloh is one---a very good one. It's MG, but I challenge you not to cry.
Because of Winn Dixie is another. That's also a movie, which stayed very close to the book so you can skip reading the book.
You do know Charlotte's Web? Somebody dies at the end.

Of course, the all time best animal story is "Wind in the Willows."

Well, this is my genre, so that's what I'm recommending.
:-)
