Physics problem number one:
If it's 4 pm and 78 degrees in cold is it in Calgary and when will train A's path intersect with train B's.
And which DID come first? The chicken? Or the Egg?

Creature of the week:
The Sea Urchin. This is an unusual one. I think it's called the roughened sea urchin. It looks how I feel. All prickly.
I catch a plane in...5 hours and 3 minutes...
I get to visit my sister in Gig Harbor and sign some books for the Borders there and then I am ACTUALLY GOING TO EXPERIENCE WINTER.
Yes. It's true. I am going to Calgary, Canada. The land of the very cold people. I will sign some books and be entertained by Holly's family. I can hardly wait.
Holly promised me warm clothes.Boots. A warm bed. Food to eat. And two young children to torture. She also said I could play in the snow.
What could be better than that?
I will blog on the road.
Maybe Holly and I can having dueling blogs.
You'll find out what authors talk about when they get together...
So. My suit case is ALMOST packed.
What should I be sure to bring? And what should I bring back?

I will be there in 29 days! If I'm lucky I might get to see Holly. Keepin my fingers crossed.

Lip balm. Your lips will get cracked in the cold.

Oh my gosh listen to me. Maybe it won't be winter anymore by then.

Just leave your flip flops at home! And have a good time... it's really beautiful out there.

That is WAY COOL! Let's see, the Alberta Clipper just went through Calgary, but the big snowstorm is in my neck of the woods near the Great Lakes.

I know you're already enroute, but when you check in from Holly's house, say HI!

p.s. It's my first blogging anniversary today.

Thanks for signing my blog. At what point did you use Publishers' marketplace? Did you pick out a few agents from AQ and then look them up just before you sent out your queries or did you follow them for a while first?

Do you feel having a blog has helped your sales?

Oh, and sea urchins -- the ones in the Mediterranean are round and black, with little spikes. I got one in my heel and they stayed in there forever.

I know it might be a little late, but pick up some fleece pajamas, if you haven't all ready. I've never been to Canada, but they've served me well on cold Colorado nights.
