OUR WORK HERE IS DONE

The ultimate in New York cheese cake has been found.

This particular selection was located at Mickey Mantles next to Central Park.
As we concluded our trip more mystery guests were collected.
The first one we met in the morning at the Algonquin Hotel.

Good fun was had by all.
So then I had to channel Dorothy Parker and sit at the Algonquin round table.
How cool was that?

And then...
More mystery guests.
Well.
More like a mystery club.
At least it's mysterious to us.
It is called the-supportive-newly-represented-almost-debut-sucessful-author-club.
SNRADSAC for short.
The membership drive will start soon.
We are working on a secret handshake and figuring out the initiation process.
All our bags are packed.
We're ready to do.
The taxi's waiting --he's blowin' his horn...
Bye bye New York.
Bye Bye.

Well, being a member of SNRADSAC beats the heck out of my last club, the IBTC. Those of you who recall the sixth grade taunts can tell everyone what THAT club was/is... In my case? Is.

It was wonderful to follow your journey through NY. I just read through all that you did. It felt like I was there with you. At least I wish I was.

To more fun and success in the future.

I hope you finished your cheesecake. It looks too scrumptious to waste.

P.S. Only 3 more scenes on my NIP... Might make the Maui conference after all. :D

Okay what do I have to do to join that club? Any hazing rituals? I'll do 'em!

Sounds like you've all had a lurvly time, and I am glad you did get to the Algonquin. Now you must go back to boring Hawaii . . . sigh . . . life is cruel sometimes . . .

I have so enjoyed going along on this trip with you and I especially enjoyed all the photos of you and your companions -- told from the POV of the feet, shoes and what they were standing on!

That cheesecake looks durn tasty. Y'all DID finish it, right?

Thanks for the vastly entertaining trip notes and photos. I'm dying to know who the mystery guests were. And I hope I'm in a position to join the SNRADSAC in the near future.

P.S. Did you get to meet our lamented muse, Miss Snark?

Hawaii missed you and I'm glad you're coming home but......I'll miss all the New York moments - especially the feet shots! Have a safe trip.

Ah, the Quest is finally complete. Rather than throwing Precious into a flaming lava pit, you got to eat it! Now, you can return triumphant to Hobbiton...uh, I mean, Hawaii.
:o)

I gained three pounds just by looking at that photo, Pat.

Pat and her cheesecake!
Almost made me crazy... I hate
desserts (much prefer salty treats) but she was quite focused on finding the BEST of the BEST.
Ho-hum. Guess you'll have to
go back next April and keep
trying, Pat!!
