Tooloose: Too Human Too Be A Muse...

5 am and 77 degrees.
OK.
Here's the thing. Touloose is eating Too much. (Hence his name. TOOloose). Having lost out the muse competition to his adopted sister, he now is working on becoming human.
He has no self control.
Tooloose has gown out of his PFD (personal floatation device) as evidenced by the above photo.
This could be a problem on a boat.
My dad has been given the job to replace Tooloose's life jacket with the next bigger size (or maybe next 2 sizes).
He is now into DOG sizes.
That's pretty embarrassing for a cat.
If he was a cat.
He's not.
He's a muse wannabe.

So then he decided to play scrabble with us.
Of course he needed help. (Having no opposable thumbs and all).
Makes it hard to place those tiles and draw from the bag yanno...
But we spent a pleasurable hour.
Except for debating whether cat-words were allowed.
Meow is worth quite a bit on a double word score.
Never play scrabble with a cat-muse.
They cheat.

Maybe Tooloose has carb intolerance, like a lot of apple shaped people, including me! Ask your vet about the kitty Atkins diet (not really, but they do make a food for diabetic cats that works for weight loss in carb-intolerant cats). Lots of these cats (like people) grow up to be type II diabetics...

Zany, the carb intolerant person ;)

My children love seeing the new picture of the day everyday on your blog. The cat lifejacket was a huge hit today!

Into dog sizes? Oh, my, how embarressing!

Tooloose prefers to be considered "rubinesque" and says that it is society which dictates the desirable physical form for muses.
He says he tolerates carbohydrates just fine.
Also turkey.
Beef.
And cheese.
Or anything else that drops on the floor.

Okay, that cat in a PFD is the funniest thing I have seen in a long time. I had no idea they made such a thing?!? I guess it's important when they are out on the boat with you, but still, I never would have thought.

*laugh*

That may be the funniest thing I"ve ever read - that your cat has outgrown feline flotation devices and must now turn to life jackets made for dogs. Thanks for the laugh :)
