Find the creature.
It's there.
You just have to look.
Like your plot, your theme, your story.
It may not be obvious
but it's there too...
7:30 and 69 degrees.
YES THAT"S RIGHT...69 DEGREES!!!!!
I am freezing my flowery-adjective-followed-by-an-expletive-noun-off.
But I am still happy. I was actually able to sleep in until 7.
I usually wake up at 4:30 or 5. Sometimes earlier but not today.
New York Publishing is on holiday.
I have my bright shiny editorial letter.
And all's right with the world.
Well...
Actually...
No.
Our Glacier Bay refrigerator/freezer is on the fritz. Making weird metallic noises.
Ever had a car throw a rod out the engine block?
Kind of like that.
We had to shut it off last night.
It is full of Christmas food.
Glacier Bays can stay cold for several days but not forever.
I think it was talking to Holly's Garburator...
We have a dilemma.
Ah well, what's the holiday season without a few complications?

I see it! I never have a problem finding my own plot or theme, but I do have other problems. Don't we all?
Uh, that was me in the first comment.
Good luck with the appliance problem, Pat. I feel your pain!
Merry Christmas, Reverend Countess!
*with a grande, sweeping gesture and a curtsey all the way to the floor*
When I left Hawaii after living there for a year and a half, I used to freeze at 60 degrees. Then, in January, I moved to the Seattle area, land of cold and wet. I froze my toes off. (And other pointy appendages.)
YOu have my sympathies. People don't know how that's possible if they haven't lived it, in my experience.
word veri dwuubudwu...what I sounded like after the dentist last week.
