YOU HAVE TO LET ART FLOW OVER YOU...

THE BRITISH ARE COMING THE BRITISH ARE COMING...
The UK hardback of LOTTERY will be released January 3, 2008. All my blogger buddies in the UK have to promise to take photos of LOTTERY in bookstores like FOYLES and WATERSTONES.
Touloose approves of the UK edition.
IT FEELSSO VERY GOODYES. OH YES

Um. You were saying?
Touloose hearts books.
Hey he's only doing what I'd like to do. Pile all those copies of Lottery up under my pillow and sleep on them.

Well, this isn't the version I dreamed about last night, but it is still cool! Seriously, I have the strangest dreams, fairly regularly, and last night I dreamed that I went to someone's house and they had a copy of Lottery, only it was about three times thicker than my copy. I was extremely jealous that they had a version that obviously had more to the story than mine.

Yeah I really think it ended up quite lovely. I may have to have a contest to give away an autographed copy of the UK edition!
Any Suggestions?

I like this cover better! Much nicer than the original one. And, of course, I love Touloose. Congrats.

You've had such great luck with all of your covers so far, congrats. It's hard to focus on the cover, though, with that gorgeous Touloose doing his usual upstaging. Part cat, part ham.

Oh, very very nice!!
We'll be in London mid-January. I hope we're there long enough to peruse through bookstores, because I would LOVE to have the UK version of this!

Love the cover. And I’m excited about seeing Lottery here in the UK!

Last time I tried to photograph a book on the shelves of my local Waterstones, I was almost thrown out of the store! Hmmm… perhaps they won’t notice if I take a photo with my phone.

Oh Oh oH!!! Mary and church lady - SO COOL! please please????
Hey Mary you can say you are doing research for the author!
It's supposed to be on the shelves January 3 and I found out it will be at Tesco and Sainsburys...

I giggle with delight for you and Touloose. I like the gold bits flying around him. Perry, not Touloose.

A contest! Cool! But I never win contests, so I'll have to make do with my unautographed copy that's waiting for me under the Christmas tree.

Hey, Pat... If I mailed it to you with a shark tooth necklace, you can sign it and send it back. Huh? Right?

Sandra Cormier said...

The book, not the necklace!

I will tell them ANYTHING to get that photo!

of course!

They changed the cover, didn't they? I like this one -- I'm glad they used the bicycle after all.

As I perused this post my four-year-old peeked over my shoulder. "You have that book!" she exclaimed. How's that for recognition among the preschool set?

Yep, I'll sneak my camera in and see how many pictures I can get before I'm thrown out!

Like the cover...
