A LITTLE SOMETHING TO SHOW YOU I'M NOT...

JUST SITTING AROUND EATING BON BONS ER... PINEAPPLE

This is a photo of the Manoa Valley Church Bookclub and um...the rest of you book clubbers take note - they actually FED me!! Good stuff too.
And now an advertisement for TODDIE DOWNS AND HER BLOG who I went out eat with after the Everett Library Gig with ANTIWIFE.
Toddie asked me for an interview so I said yes and...well...here it is.
And now back to work. Turning off phone. Setting email to stun. Locking muses in forward cabin.
Ready.
Set.
Back to writing.

They fed you? Oh, man, I am such a lousy cook. This is another good reason to publish a novel!

Yes they did! Also it made me happy not to be the shortest one in the room!!

Awwww! Great interview!
I loved your answer about not wanting to be a character from a book you admire--that you're happy being yourself.

And people actually bring manuscripts to booksignings? Wow. That's a new one. ;-)

Manuscripts...self published novels...query letters...

I can't decide whether these people are ballsy, or shameless. ;)

So glad you mentioned A RAZOR'S EDGE in that interview. It's such an inspiring book. If only we all could "loaf" in Paris for a year, too...

Very cool, Pat.
I love talking to book clubs.
It makes what we do so much less lonely, don't you think? And all that feedback is invaluable.
I have, however, never been fed.

Yeah you celebs get all the free perks. :)

Sarah I think they really have no idea how the process works and think there are shortcuts...

I'll head right over. I loved Lottery, and I'm a big fan of anyone named Toddie.
